The working day of a gamekeeper also includes the hours of darkness, especially in spring and summer when we have vulnerable chicks on the ground, but it is also a chance to see events such as the recent Aurora.

We might not have been lucky enough to have another colourful Aurora last night but the clouds were definitely putting on a display even at 2am.
