An alternative gathering on the #NorthYorkMoors this weekend as one of our estates welcomed the Highmoor Bloodhounds.

I’ve never seen this before but it was certainly popular. One game fell runner took off into the distance along moor tracks and bridleways and then the 20+ riders and bloodhounds set off in pursuit, note the fell runner was given a good head start!

Not sure I would be fit enough for this kind of Sunday activity, but all in attendance looked like they had a great time. With the promise the runner wouldn’t be eaten alive if they were caught anyone fancy it next time?
