It was a busy evening for our moorland gamekeepers this weekend as one of our local scout groups came out to learn about different species of game and how to prepare them.

The Scouts did a brilliant job preparing Rabbit, Pheasant and Woodpigeon and then watched as one of their leaders cut a Roe deer carcase into various different joints before a tasting session to finish the evening.

Well done to all the Scouts, Leaders and parents who joined in on an enjoyable and informative evening.
