Tidying up the moors

Nidderdale Moorland Group

After another busy bank holiday weekend there was just enough time this morning before the heavy rain arrived for the gamekeepers at the top of the dale and their family members to do a litter pick to help keep our countryside tidy and protect the wildlife it supports.

We love to see visitors enjoying our moorlands and the dale, but as one picture shows, you can easily take your litter home in the bag you brought it in.
