Here at YDMG we ought to be sharing the delights of our uplands and the wonderful joys of our abundant birds, nests, eggs and hatching chicks. We will continue to do so but on this occasion we regrettably have to highlight the persistent problem of litter and dog waste. These images aren't particularly appealing on the eye but imagine the reality of discovering them and having to tidy them up!

What is wrong with people? These dog poo bags were just dumped at various locations over the weekend on just one estate in Swaledale.

Our gamekeepers take great pride in their workplaces and frequently go around tidying up the debris left by 'country lovers'. Periodically they are assisted by family members to help too.

Do you want to leave litter and bags of dog waste for children to clean up? TAKE IT HOME!
